My name is Kathleen. I’m the sole owner/collar maker of Trendy Hounds martingale collars and leashes, a breast cancer survivor (as of Dec. 2014), wife, mom, grandmom, dog lover, and collar maker. I'm here to help keep your pup stylish and trendy.
I live in South Carolina, USA, with my husband and 4 dogs. My love for dogs is my greatest inspiration. I started searching for martingale collars to outfit him with. The first few martingale dog collars we purchased didn’t last long and were very expensive.
The desire to make quality, comfortable martingale dog collars at reasonable prices led to the beginning of Trendy Hounds martingale collars and leashes. Since we had greyhounds and worked with a greyhound rescue, I started out only making the 1.5 inch size “medium” martingale collars. It wasn’t long before customers were requesting collars in other collar widths and sizes, which led to gradually adding the 3/4 inch, 1 inch, and 2 inch width martingale collars in various sizes (x-small, small, medium, med/lrg, large, and x-large) for ALL BREEDS of dogs.
