Mobile friendly and Responsive Designs
Here are just a handful of the many responsive web sites we have recently developed.
Google Testing Tool
How do I make my existing site mobile friendly?
The @media rule is used to define different style rules for different media types and devices.
Media queries look at the capability of the device, and can be used to check many points including:
- width and height of the browser window
- width and height of the device
- orientation (is the tablet or phone in landscape or portrait mode?)
- the screen resolution
Using media queries gives you the ability to set the correct widths per element so the content is displayed correctly for different devices.
Generally if your website is considerably old it's adviseable to start from scratch using a CSS based layout with no tables.
How much will a mobile friendly site cost?
Prices vary according to your specifications and requirements. If you require a ball park figure please contact us and include the url of the website and we'll get back to you.
How do I edit my new mobile friendly site?
All sites are developed using DreamWeaver CS5 and we create a DreamWeaver Template so global upates to regions such as the menus and footer links are easily updated by editing one file. Changing the site content is no different to your usual method of updating using your HTML editor.
